Big Changes For Hotel Food & Beverage

As time goes on, hotels are learning more and more about the needs and wants of their guests. Technology has become a major part of everything hotels do; whether it be incorporating charging stations in lobby areas, keyless smartphone room entries, or providing the fastest Wifi available.

What else do people love just as much as the latest and greatest technology? Food, of course! Hotels around the world have really upped their game when it comes to food and beverage services within their respective properties. Many hotels, especially high-end ones, have taken to hiring high profile chefs in order to provide their guests with some of the best meals available. It is now all about creating a dining “experience” for guests; one that they will never forget.

Creating a culture-filled experience is something that many hotels take pride in when it comes to the food and beverage side of things. According to Boutique Hotel News, The Apero Bar & Restaurant serves Mediterranean food by chef Chris Golding. The eating space has intentionally been designed with a very different aesthetic from the main hotel. This creates a unique atmosphere to go along with the unique food served within the restaurant.

The Hotel Indigo has created a “local deli” in which guests can eat, meet and be merry. Guests also have the opportunity to browse around and shop for locally grown produce. The purpose of this deli/market is to create a sense of connection between hotel guests and the local neighborhood. What a great (very tasty) idea!
