Isinglass owes its name to our dear friend, Jonathan Jerden. When Jonathan was a small boy he and his dad would take fishing weekends away to a beautiful, isolated and exceptionally crystal clear lake in the wilds of Canada. It was remote and could only be reached via float plane.

Jonathan remembers the beauty and magic of the crystal rippling waters and mentioned to us how our beautiful textured glass reminded him of that. And Viola - the Isinglass name was born !
